Last Night a DJ Saved My Life

Many years ago, I saw the X-ecutioners perform live and it forever shifted my perspective of DJs. Gone were the thoughts of just some cat at a party digging through someone’s mom’s record collection, replaced by the DJ as the artists. The mix master and musical therapist. Whether coming through your speakers, or live in the flesh at a club, party or concert, the DJ connects all the pieces of the puzzle and sets the tone and keeps it moving.

While perusing the homie Jamz spot the other day, I was treated to his Soundnexx Forgotten Artists Remix- an hour of solid R&B music, I couldn’t help but wondering: where have all the R&B artist gone?
